The big thing is that we are in business to offer you the very best in “Cut & Edged” service. We are also very keen to supply your company with full boards if that is the way you prefer to purchase laminated worktops. We would suggest that actually purchasing “Cut and Edged” worktops can prove to be more cost effective, but of course circumstances do not always permit it.
Consider these points though when using the full board option:
• Difficulties in you transporting full worktops to site.
• (Of course we could deliver direct to site for you.)
• Health & Safety issues.
• The extra time taken by your skilled fitters cutting full boards.
• (Skilled fitters are thin on the ground these days!)
• The cost of disposing of the off-cuts.
• The extra mess made on site whilst cutting full boards.
• Limitations of design, for example no inset splays or acrylic edged options.
• Quality of the “Butt & Scribe” joints cut.
